About Us

The National Office is the central location for the administration of the union. One of the functions is to liaise and communicate with National Officers at the departmental level of government.

The primary responsibility for the staff who work there is to provide support to the Regional Vice-Presidents who are working day to day with the membership through issues like grievances.

The 2 Labour Relations Officers (LROs) are responsible for providing 3rd or final level representation at grievance hearings. The LROs also liaise with employers on various grievance issues.

The Finance Officer provides locals with their rebates and ensures the financial overview of the organization.

The Membership Clerk is responsible for ensuring the proper membership allocation within the component and the locals.

The Communications and Research Officer is responsible for ensuring the communication flow between the membership and the National Office. This officer is also responsible to conduct research on various issues that affect the membership.

It also houses the offices of both the National President and the National Vice-President.
