Petition to the House of Commons in Parliament Assembled

We, the undersigned citizens of Canada, draw the attention of the House to the following:

THAT the decision to close the Marine Rescue Sub-Centres located in St. John’s, NL, and Quebec City, Quebec will put Canadians located in these geographic regions that use or require maritime search and rescue services at high risk and increased danger.

Therefore, the undersigned call upon Parliament to reverse the decision to close the Maritime Rescue Sub-Centres located in St. John’s NL and Quebec City, Quebec.
