Chronology of negotiations - Refueling Supervisors at Vancouver International Airport

Monday, July 19th : UCTE Refueling supervisors and administration group locked out by employer

Tuesday, July 20th : Union bargaining team delivers proposals on the very few issues left on the table; employer promises (via mediator) "Last and final offer" first for Friday the 23rd, then for Monday the 25th

Wednesday, July 21st : UCTE members organize picket line at refueling station entrance;

Thursday, July 22nd : PSAC president John Gordon sends message to all, asking members and PSAC staff not to use the Vancouver Airport until further notice, locked-out refueling supervisors receive messages of support from various Components; Servisair files complaint with Canada Industrial Relations Board, complaining of flight delays : "The following Servisair clients have reported fueling delays : United, Air New Zealand, Continental, KLM, US Airways, Cathay Pacific, American, WestJet, Air North, Air Canada.  There were roughly two years' (worth) of fuelling delays."

Tuesday, July 27th : Servisair offers "last and final offer", bargaining team responds and offers to meet

Thursday, July 29th : Union and employer meet; employer reps say they're taking the weekend off

Tuesday, August 3rd : Servisair offers "last, last and definitely final offer"

Wednesday, August 4th :  Union bargaining team meet

Saturday, August 8th: UCTE members distribute leaflets at Vancouver airport
